HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER
Kawasaki Disease may not sound familiar to you, but imagine how it may feel if you were watching your baby suffer for reasons nobody could understand. The baby's symptoms seem to worsen everyday and every visit to the doctor raises more questions than it answers. You witness your baby deteriorate before your eyes and when your doctor finally gives you a solid diagnosis, it is already too late. This painful process is a common occurence for families who have children bearing an undiagnosed case of Kawaksaki Disease. Yet Sarah Chalke's new campaign will allow you to help fund studies that may significantly speed up the detection and prevention of this detrimental condition.
Neil Patrick Harris, the hilarious Barney Stinson on "How I Met Your Mother," turns 39 today. NPH has made us laugh for the last 7 seasons of his show where he plays a womanizing and clever schemer. NPH was also a teen-hearthrob in the late '80s and early '90s in Doogie Howser M.D., when he played a teen prodigy and the youngest doctor in history. The show was his first big TV success. NPH will reprise his role as Barney when HIMYM returns again for season 8.
Hope you enjoy your birthday, Neil!
Funnywoman Alyson Hannigan welcomed a daughter on May 23, the star's rep told People Magazine recently. The actress and her husband Alexis Denisof have named their new daughter Keeva Jane. Baby Keeva joins big sister Satyana. When the actress was out promoting her last flick "American Reunion," Hannigan looked bigger that she was in her first few months of pregnancy, she told People Mag.
The star who met her husband on the set of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," are said to be doing well.
As the saying goes, "Everyone makes mistakes.'
Seems that Jason Segel made a little mistake when trying to text a lady friend.
Instead of texting a mystery lady for a late night booty call, the How I Met Your Mother star tweeted it! Yes, you read it correct, he tweeted his late night invitation. Silly celebs!
Here is what Jason had accidentally tweeted:
“Are you still up? Want to come over?”
As soon as he realized his mistake he quickly deleted his tweet. What do you think his face looked like when he realized he sent his private message to the world? (Didn't he learn anything from Anthony Weiner?)
We are only human. An occasional, and embarrassing, oopsie daisy happens, but it does make for a good laugh though. Poor guy.
But some advice for Jason (and everyone for that matter), check who you're sending your message to before you send it. In fact, check twice! You know, to prevent booty calls and such from going public on Twitter.
Now the real question, who was the girl (or boy)?
Suit up, NPH fans.
Your trusty editor's dream has come true. Part-time actor and full-time DILF Neil Patrick Harris is finally getting the star treatment he deserves. The longtime Hollywood regular has officially received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Hollywood Boulevard near the Pantages Theatre. Eep! Lucky number 2448.
For moral support, the actor was accompanied by How I Met Your Mother co-star & friend Jason Segel, as well as director Joss Whedon. The cult Hollywood writer had helped out Harris by writing/producing for the online musical series Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog', during the 2008 writers' strike. Whedon also spoke a few words with NPH when the actor received the huge honor.
This is like a Teenage Dream for many fans...
The pop star Katy Perry will guest star on the show's February 7 episode.
Nothing much is known about this episode except that Russell Brand's beloved one will play the role of Honey and will try to help Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) with his women addiction...
This is not the first collaboration between Perry and Harris: they've shooted together the live action film The Smurfs that will be released in theatres on August 3rd.
Be ready for a Firework...
