HOWARD STERN
And the award for Most Disgusting Post-Break Fight goes to....the runaway bride Crystal Harris and ex Hugh Hefner.
Crystal, 25, recently went on an interview with Howard Stern, discussing the real reasons why she chose not to walk down the aisle last month. Her responses concerning Hugh, 85, were a bit of an overshare, to say the least:
"Hef doesn't really take off his clothes. I have never seen him naked...Then I was just over it...I just like, walked away. I'm not turned on by Hef, sorry."
Peter Rice, chairman of entertainment for Fox Network Group, says “no one has signed a deal yet” to be a judge in season 10 of American Idol. The rumor mill is spinning fast, and stars like Barry Manilow, Elton John, Bret Michaels, Justin Timberlake, Nigel Lythgoe (So You Think You Can Dance judge) and Howard Stern have all supposedly expressed interest in joining Randy Jackson, the remaining original judge, on the panel. Simon Cowell announced in season 9 that he would be leaving the show to work on his own talent show for Fox, The X Factor. Kara DioGuardi was recently fired for not connecting with the fans. Ellen DeGeneres had a good season on the show, but felt that she was not a good judge of musical talent and left.
I believe it's safe to say that Larry King and Howard Stern don't like to play nice.
In an interview for Steppin' Out, columnist Chaunce Hayden asked King if Stern would make a good replacement for him when he steps down from his talk show.
For those for of you who don't remember King announced last month that he was retiring from his CNN job (plus his marriage is a complete mess).
"No, I wouldn't want to be compared to Howard Stern," King said, adding: "He's not tasteful at all.You go to the least common denominator and that's Howard Stern."
Ouch! I think King is the last person that should be talking about being "tasteful" but anyways he finishes the interview by saying: “I regard Howard Stern as worthless.”
When you think of the term ‘American Idol' who comes to mind? Maybe Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson, we think of clean, wholesome faces. Not anymore, after reports confirmed that FOX's number one replacement for Simon Cowell is indeed the shock jock, Howard Stern.
FOX approached Stern after he repeatedly mentioned on-air that his exclusive Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January and he was open to other offers. Cowell, who will leave after this season, takes in $50 million a year, but Stern said he would judge for a $100 million. Stern has been discussing the possibilities quite openly on his radio show, "There's not a better job on the planet than judging a f-----g karaoke contest," Stern told his satellite radio listeners. "It might be possible, we'll see."
The last week has seen the continuation of the controversy surrounding the future of "The Tonight Show."
So what's actually changed? Not that much. Conan O'Brien will still be leaving "The Tonight Show," but presumably substantially richer after settlement talks are over. Meanwhile, NBC honcho Jeff Zucker has admitted that he made a "mistake," but quickly backtracked. After being seared by Jimmy Kimmel on his own show, Leno finally spoke up for himself, saying that he knew better than NBC and that the network was treating them both unfairly. While this likely did not change many minds among Team Conan or the I'm With Coco crowd, who came out in droves Monday at rallies across the country, it did serve to highlight the business aspect of the whole shebang.
If you don’t know about pornstar/political activist/actress/brainiac Sasha Grey, it’s worth your time to Google her. Go research some of her work and decide whether she’s worth the trouble she is causing. Besides being called the dirtiest girl in porn, she’s getting into a war of words with the dirtiest voice on the airways, Howard Stern.
Grey, who is from Sacramento, is a well-decorated pornstar vet. As a rising star, Grey also appeared on the Tyra Banks show, made an appearance in the film Quit and will star in The Girlfriend Experience, directed by Academy-Award winning Steven Soderbergh. Critics give her performance praise, but radio-jock icon Howard Stern isn’t the feeling the sultry starlet.
After surviving FBI raids and a crusade against smut by former NYC Mayor Giuliani, the infamous strip club, Scores, will be closing its doors. The closing is blamed on a slow economy but it has also been rumored the that the venue is closing because it’s losing its liquor license.
Radio show host Howard Stern was a big fan of this place and it was frequented by many other celebrities including Lindsay Lohan and Kate Moss. Co-owner Elliot Osher has confirmed the closing and says that a new club will be opening up in its place at the foot of the Queensboro Bridge.
