Cher will headline New York City's Dance on the Pier event this year! The NYC Pride celebration takes place on Sunday, June 30th, and Cher will sing her new single "Woman's World" from her upcoming Closer to Truth album. This is her first album since Living Proof in 2001. After that she embarked on a three-year farewell tour, ending in 2005, and became a staple at the Colosseum in Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas until 2011.
Chris Frederick, Managing Director of NYC Pride, wrote in an email, “NYC Pride is thrilled to welcome Cher to the stage of this year's Dance on the Pier! Her performance will be one of the most memorable in the history of this world-class party. Now in its 27th year, the Dance on the Pier continues a proud tradition of partnering with all-star talent to create a high-quality event that raises funds to support local LGBT non-profits and New York City's annual Pride festivities."
A little over two weeks ago celebrity couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed their new baby girl into the world. On Sunday, the excited father couldn’t wait to share his excitement of celebrating his first Father’s Day with his baby girl. Rather than selling the first photos of their child Channing, 33, and wife Jenna, 32, went to his Facebook to reveal the first photo of their baby! The couple who both starred in the movie Step Up, wed in 2009 and welcomed their daughter on May 31st in London! The name of the baby was released by the actor himself on his website writing,
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially parents! Yes, you read that right! On Satruday, June 15th, Kim Kardashian gave birth to their daughter at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California confirmed by E! News. We can definitely say this baby girl is her parents’ child, making a dramatic entrance into the world five weeks earlier than expected! And also just in time for Father’s Day and the drop of Kanye’s sixth album Yeezus!
It looks like former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes is finally going to make her dream of going from actress to rapper come true. The retired actress was offered a record deal with a small East Coast hip-hop label to release her first album!
The record label of interest? Chinga Chang Records, a small New York-based group that was founded in 2003. Music Producer Daniel Herman shared with RadarOnline that he had proposed a record deal offer to Ms. Bynes. Daniel states, “I cleared the project with The Orchard and Sony Entertainment and they gave me the green light to go ahead.” He then reached out to the aspiring rapper’s attorneys out in Los Angeles to get the contract signed. If you follow Amanda on Twitter you know when she’s not busy bashing other celebrities she’s tweeting about her desire of becoming a hip-hop star!
It looks like our favorite Twilight star (#TeamEdward) Robert Pattinson can finally put away the white powder and say bye bye to his vampire days, because our boy is the newest face of Dior Homme! Confirmed by Dior Homme Fragrances themselves the 27-year old actor has signed a contract to represent the fashion houses’ campaign. Looks like rapper 2 Chainz hasn’t had the best of luck within these past two weeks! Just days ago he was robbed at gunpoint in San Francisco. But now the “Birthday Cake” rapper has to deal with more legal issues such as...getting arrested!
Tuesday afternoon 2 Chainz was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after authorities allegedly found him carrying not just marijuana, but also a bottle of antihistamine laced with codeine! At around 1pm, airport security discovered the illegal items allegedly packed in the MC’s checked bags after a call was made to investigate for narcotics in the baggage area.

The singer hasn't been shy about demanding that her famous body remain intact, fighting back against H&M when it tried to present photoshopped images of her for their new ad campaign. Bey won out that time, and both her and the clothing giant were reportedly pleased with the end result, but this time she must not have had a say.
Roberto Cavalli's most recent press release showcases an illustration of the stunning gown the fashion house designed for Beyoncé's Mrs. Carter Tour. They used what looks to be a picture of Mrs. Carter herself as a basis for the sketch, but the photo has clearly been altered, giving Bey Barbie-like proportions. The end result isn't flattering, the singer's hips and bust practically nonexsistent, and her legs and arms are disturbingly long and skinny. Even her skin has been altered, the end result producing an unnatural glow. She doesn't even entirely look human, and if this were a simple drawing of the dress the proportions might be acceptable, but someone clearly thought Beyoncé needed a slim-down.
“Body Party” singer Ciara was served papers during her L.A. Pride performance, Saturday night after she had to cancel a scheduled appearance at the popular Los Angeles bar The Factory on Friday night!
The talented singer and dancer was performing on the catwalk when a woman whom she believed to be one of her fans held her hand out a paper right in the middle of her “Promise” performance. When Ciara reached out for the paper realizing they were actually lawsuit papers, she continued to sing nonchalantly and flung the papers back into the crowd. The reasoning of the performance disruption came after the “Goodies” singer had to flop on the West Hollywood’s well-known gay club appearance! Ciara’s reps state they had informed The Factory about her inability to perform that night but the club due to her contractual obligations for her L.A. Pride performance, but they still proceeded to promote her showing up regardless. A statement from one of her reps said, "Ciara's commitment to perform at L.A. Gay Pride on Saturday night prevented her from making such a Friday night appearance. Despite being notified early last week that Ciara could not appear, the Factory continued to market and promote Ciara's appearance."
Well after all of the antics that Amanda Bynes has been pulling these past few weeks. We can at least say she finally got one positive out of it. The ex-Nickelodeon star has finally gotten a verified blue check next to her twitter name! We mean that we believe it’s well overdue, especially since many still refuse to believe Amanda’s crazy tweets are true. Our personal favorite is the one referring to her desire for Drake to “murder her vagina.” Well now tweeters can be sure to know, that’s her tweeting alright! She can no longer pull off her most over used excuse of “I got hacked.” or a “Parody account tweeted that.”
So remember when singer Miguel attempted that horrific jump that landed his leg on a poor young woman during his Billboard Music Awards performance? Well let’s just say Khyati Shah’s adornment for Miguel just might be over!
When the incident happened on Monday, May 20th, R&B singer Miguel got a little too into his performance and attempted a risky jump across the stage over fans that didn’t end successfully at all. The soulful singer's fall resembled a Hulk Hogan move in which he landed on a fan by the name of Khyati. She was taken backstage and given an ice pack (oddly not rushed to the hospital), and a very concerned Miguel rushed to see if she was okay. At that point she seemed great and well although she experienced that traumatic hit, stating she “still adorns” him.
