No longer will we hear Faith Hill's country twang on Sunday Night Football. The opening act for NBC's Sunday Night Football, for the last couple of years, Hill has been singing the theme song "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" since 2007. The song was a country rock version of the tune "I Hate Myself for Loving You" originally by rock n' roll songstress, Joan Jett.
Hill tweeted, "Amazing 2 have been part of SNF—an honor. I've just let everyone know it's time 2 let someone else rock the open. Difficult decision. Kinda emotional. Love all you guys at SNF—I'll be watching!!!"
Jay Leno has claimed to be retiring in the past but this time it appears to be for real. Leno and his infamous hair-do will say goodbye to his loyal Tonight Show fans in early spring of 2014. NBC executives announced last week that Jimmy Fallon, the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and SNL alumni, is set to replace Jay Leno as the new host of The Tonight Show. Fallon would take over Leno’s coveted desk spot starting in spring of 2014 which would mesh with NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage from Sochi, Russia which will obviously generate lots of viewers for the ratings-struggling network. With Jimmy Fallon’s takeover of The Tonight Show, filming will also be resumed in New York City rather than its current home in Los Angeles. If you're worried about not getting your nightly fix of The Roots, Questlove just confirmed with Fuse that “The Tonight Show is coming to [The Roots]; we’re not going to The Tonight Show.” As for Fallon’s current gig at Late Night, no heir has come forth. Stay tuned.
Zachary Quinto graces the cover of the April edition of Modern Luxury's Manhattan Magazine in the annual men's issue. The star actor dicusses his role in Star Trek Into Darkness, American Horror Story, and more. Some of it might even shock you! For example, Quinto states, "I'd love to go on the record and say I'd love to do a romantic comedy." Gasp! We would love to see Quinto play a nice, romantic character for a change. Although we did love his dark and devious ways in AHS and Heroes.
An unknown fact to many: feisty brunette Sofia Vergara is actually a blonde. The beautiful Latina, the highest paid actress on TV, is known to millions as the star of the hit comedy Modernas Gloria Delgado Pritchett. Yet she actually colors her hair for the role.
Vergara confessed, “When I first started acting, I would go to auditions and they didn’t know where to put me because I was voluptuous and had the accent—but I had blonde hair. It was ignorance: they thought every Latin person looks like Salma Hayek. The moment I dyed my hair dark, it was 'Oh, she’s the hot Latin girl.' I loved it. I’d always felt a little 'too much' as a blonde, like a big-mouth version of Pamela Anderson. Being brunette toned me down a bit.”
Miley Cyrus has once again caused an internet sensation with the "Twerk" video she posted on her Facebook page recently. Dressed in a onesie adorned with a unicorn on the hood, the songstress is seen dancing to the song "WOP" by J. Dash. The singer is seen sporting her gorgeous engagement ring from fiance Liam Hemsworth.
Rumors have been circulating that the couple were on the outs, with Liam going off to Australia and Miley photographed sans ring. She had confirmed that her ring was being re-sized and that is why she had been seen not wearing it. This video proves the tabloids and doubters are all wrong. Miley and Liam are as strong as ever and sources recently confirmed to People Magazine that the couple have reunited since Liam got back from Australia and are as happy as ever.
We love that Miley is not afraid to take risks and her dancing is quite fabulous!
In the recent issue of Elle magazine, our favorite bad girl Rihanna finally sheds some light on her relationship with lover Chris Brown, who infamously assaulted her in 2009. Rihanna has been in the media a lot recently for her "don't give a f*ck attitude." She has uploaded a plethora of photos smoking weed, nude, or with Chris Brown even when we all thought he was still with his now ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
Rihanna reveals to the mag, “we got a fresh start and I'm thankful for that…And right now that's what we want, a great friendship that's unbreakable. Now that we're adults we can do this right.” She continued on to explain that has her "own reasons, very very private reasons. Very personal. A lot of things. Bottom line is—I know him. I had a lot to think about and I had a lot of time to think about it. I was trying to do this for myself…You don't have that feeling of everlasting love with everybody so when you have it you don't want to let go of it. I would definitely say that he, Chris Brown, is the one I have that kind of relationship with.”
Heidi Klum can now put another judging position on her resume. The supermodel has landed a new gig as the newest host on America's Got Talent. She will be the fourth judge on the show created by Simon Cowell. She joins host Nick Cannon and other judges Howie Mandel, radio host Howard Stern, and former Spice Girl Mel B. Heidi is no stranger to television as she is also the host on the popular longtime fashion-design competition show Project Runway as well as model competition Germany's Next Top Model in her native country.
Klum is due to join the other judges for the nationwide auditions set to start on today in New Orleans. The show is open to singers, dancers, magicians, and other performers with a chance to win a $1 million prize. NBC is hoping that Klum and Mel B will boost ratings for the summer show, which experienced record low numbers during the finale in September with less than 11 million viewers.
We bet sexy Heidi will bring more of an appeal to viewers and Mel B. will also sass up the show.
For a minute Kim Kardashian seemed to be changing her outlook and privacy regarding her relationship and her love life. She has even told the mags since her relationship with rapper Kanye West became tabloid fodder, that Kanye has taught her the value of privacy.
Things sure seem to have changed however, since the cover of L 'Officiel Hommes, where the couple (who are expecting a baby girl in July!) were photographed in an explicit embrace. The picture has been circulating the web Monday and has the blogs and mags talking up a storm.
The racy image has a seemingly nude Kardashian, 32, looking as though she is in the throws of passion with West, 35, whose nude back is to the camera. The couple sure seems to not care about showing off for the cameras in this full on PDA cover photo.

The Kardashian empire is expanding and is apparently not going anywhere because the matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner, is getting her own talk show! Kris is the name of her show and will be an hour-long talk show and will have a summer on select Fox-owned stations in New York, L.A. and elsewhere.
Jenner, 57, will welcome celebrity guests and talk about fashion, pop culture, beauty, and lifestyle. Fox Executive, Stephen Brown praises the mother of six as "a dedicated mom and a successful business woman." He continued to say, "Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted, all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host."
Before she was in the critically acclaimed Silver Linings Playbook, and before she played heroine Katniss Everdeen, Jennifer Lawrence was just 14 when she made two commercials for MTV. She was featured on two promos as a bratty girl named Lisa for the reality series, My Super Sweet 16. Rewind a couple of years and the starlet has nabbed herself a Golden Globe for Best Actress and just took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role at the SAG Awards. In her acceptance speech, she thanked MTV for her first acting experience.
