Jimmy Choo Jasmine Clutch, $1,695
The mixture of white and coral on this python skin clutch gives it a simple, classic look. We love the use of silver hardware against the warm color to give it more of an edgy appeal! If you have the money to splurge on something this fantastic, and are in need of a chic day clutch, we say hail to the Choo!

The Girly Girl
This year for the annual sponsorship of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, J.Crew has partnered up with inventive Pamela Love to come out with some new pieces for their collection.
"The collection was inspired by what my friends and I wear almost on a daily basis," Love explains."I'm a big fan of mixing bold statement pieces with more subdued vintage classics, and I think that blend is pretty well reflected in the collection."
This limited collection is a three piece line that includes denim elements which is a staple of J.Crew's style. All of the pieces are available online at J.crew.com and at select J.crew stores.
Memorial Day weekend is almost here and with it comes parties, barbecues, beach time, and lots, and lots, of fun activities. Now we just need to figure out what to wear! Whether you're hitting the Hamptons, Cape Cod, or Miami you'll need great style. Here are a few great summery essentials we love that include trends of the season from floral prints, to white, bright, and color blocking. It’s time to start packin’!
Clutch or Bag- That is the question!
Whether it is an all weekend event, or a couple hours for the day, make your choice of handbag accordingly. We love these summery styles as the blue and white stripe clutch by Rag & Bone shows a little nautical spirit, and Club Monaco’s Goldie Moroccan Bag has that beachy feel to it with the wicker weave and the gold-dipped bottom.
As it turns out, the upcoming collaboration between fetish-worthy footwear designer Manolo Blahnik and purveyor-of-preppy brand J. Crew was merely wishful thinking. Sad but true, the on-again, off-again pair are off again—but leaving us hopeful for the future.
It all started with J. Crew’s fabulous Fall 2012 collection, the presentation made memorable by the addition of sweet Manolo stilettos in J. Crew exclusive colors and fabrics. (Cue infinite blogger buzz.) In February, post New York Fashion Week, J. Crew creative director Jenna Lyons announced the collaboration of dreams, only to be met with a shocking response from Blahnik himself. “I was recently contacted by J Crew to do something with them, so I sent them over 45 pairs of shoes, and they announced we were doing a collaboration. I had no idea about it," the designer told British Vogue. In a quick recovery, Lyons, and undoubtedly the entire public relations crew, reconciled the misunderstanding stating to The Daily, “We are in a good place with [Manolo Blahnik] now. Everything's okay.” It was decided—41 styles priced from $595 to $645, slated to debut this fall. (Cue additional blogger buzz.)
Now that spring has officially sprung, we’ve turned our attention towards re-vamping our wardrobes for the warmer months. Along with pastel accessories, neon jeans, and peplum-adorned tops, one of the top items on our “Must Have List” this spring is a fabulous hat with a brim wide enough to shade our faces from the sure-to-happen blistering heat.
This straw fedora holds its shape wonderfully and has a wider brim than a standard-issue fedora. The red grosgrain ribbon is also a great, classic embellishment.
One of the things we love most about fashion is that past styles and trends tend to recycle themselves for today's runways and red carpets! It's like fashion's way of saying 'you're welcome' to the global community... and the looks are always fresh, inspiring and flying off the racks!
'40s and '50s inspired garments came down the catwalks in droves this year and we couldn’t be more excited! One of the biggest styles that captivated the fashionable era was figure-flattering Dior design called peplum. Highlighting the curves on every beautiful woman, a well-tailored cinch waist flatters in all the right places and exudes femininity and grace!
