"We employ, you empower" is the Same Sky mantra.
Established with the hopes to create a jewelry line that could make a difference for women everywhere and build-up a forgotten community, the brand formed following the atrocities of the Rwandan genocide, a genocide that destroyed the lives and hope of a nation.
Same Sky operates based on a two prong idea: one piece can pay the healthcare for an artisan for one year, meanwhile they learn and educate themselves on how stay healthy and birth children that are not affected with HIV. (Approximately one quarter of a million women were raped and affected with HIV/AIDS as a result of the Rwandan Genocide.) Through Same Sky these women are given marketable skills and consistent work to provide for them and their families.

It was a night to remember with a slew of familiar faces including fellow DWTS alumn, Tony Dovolani, broadway rock star, Constantine, as well as Disney starlet and budding fashionista Zendaya. This is a perfect way to add sleek touches to flirty dresses and girly silhouettes. Metal fringe and chunky bracelets are easy go-to items.
