Now, it’s official: Paramount Pictures has announced that Chace Crawford of Gossip Girl will be stepping into Zac’s dancing shoes. The newly-famous 23-year old reportedly beat out Derek Hough, of Dancing with the Stars, for the role.

The event was held at the Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday night and included a performance by indie fave, The Black Kids. Guests included Joshua Jackson, Kevin Bacon, Diane Kruger, Robert Buckley, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Ed Westwick proving this is one party where it’s cool to wear your shades at night.
