LIV NIGHTCLUB
Miami seems to be hotter than a typical summer day this month. As the biggest holiday is now days away, there's no doubt that bubbly will be flowing as revelers countdown to midnight and celebrate into the early morning hours of 2013. If that's not appealing enough, the hottest hotels house some of Miami's most exclusive and A-list nightclubs, who in true MIA fashion, are bringing in top notch DJ talent to shake things up on December 31! Read our round up below and for more information on hot and happening parties visit here.
Miami’s large Jewish population makes it rather easy for observant Jews to navigate through a secular world without so much as a second thought. However with Passover right around the corner, the issue of Kashrut becomes amplified, and for those of us who take advantage of the amazing Miami nightlife, it can be somewhat of an issue. Well leave the tears for the salt water on the Seder plate because LIV nightclub is freeing us from the Halachic bondage we observant partiers find ourselves in during Passover! On Thursday, April 21 LIV nightclub in the Fontainebleau will be hosting their Matzo Madness party. The club has gone to great lengths to make sure that everything is “kosher” – the mixing guns will be put away to ensure no cross contamination and the bar will be stocked with kosher for Passover booze. By giving us the opportunity to celebrate without worry, the club has also created one of the biggest events for young, hip, Jews to meet, mingle, and have a good time. Who knows, you may just meet the right guy or gal to bring home to mom and dad.

Anniversaries. For us it’s usually something our significant other berates us about forgetting or something that we hastily prepare just in time. But this Wednesday there is an anniversary that we’ve had on our calendars for months. On Wednesday, February 23, LIV will be hosting their two year anniversary party for their weekly Wednesday blowout, Dirty Hairy. In the dark days prior to the inception of this mid week shindig, Miamians were forced into d-list clubs with less than stellar music and lack luster ambiance. But then the sun shown down on our midweek mishaps and the folks at LIV brought us Dirty Hairy.
Cure those hump day blues and LIV it up a little. LIV’s weekly Wednesday party, Dirty Hairy is getting down right filthy with this week’s special skateboarding event. Now one of the most talked about nightclubs in the world is really outdoing themselves with a live skateboarding showcase inside their monstrous club. This Wednesday, January 19th Dirty Decks will have you seriously re-assessing your choice of employment as you watch in awe as the pro skateboarders fly through the air, or better yet, watch all the beautiful women who simply can not get enough of these bad boy acrobats. So strap on a helmet and maybe even some wrist-guards. Safety is first, and at this party you never know what just might happen.
New ultra lounge, Arkadia opened it's doors this past weekend and made quite the first impression on Miami's nightlife scene. The club, even in it's first few days hosted a birthday celebration for hip hop superstar Drake, who partied alongside Lebron James, Ed Norton, Alex Rodriguez and Ashanti.
The lounge within the Fontainebleau is now sister venues with powerhouse and award winning LIV nightclub. MMG Nightlife, the same masterminds behind LIV wanted to create a more personal and exclusive venue. The new space was designed for a little over 300 guest, with both indoor and outdoor space featuring a small pool for those party-goers who want to make a little splash before they leave the club.
Lebron James was spotted at Club LIV over the weekend after giving Miami Heat fans a scare several days prior as he limped off the court during an exhibition game. Lebron figured he needed some time to "heal" so what better place to do that than illustrious Club LIV!
Spotted with a few friends, Lebron allegedly ordered three bottles of Wódka Vodka and two bottles of Dom Pérignon, prepared to party -- wouldn't you say?
In addition to an appearance by Lebron, Jenny McCarthy was also in the building, just two tables over from Lebron's.
