Who doesn't like to enjoy some wine while getting a taste of what another country has to offer? On April 17th, The Wines of Argentina, Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism and the Consulate General in New York will host the 3rd Annual World Malbec Day, celebrating the iconic wines from Argentina.

The worldwide celebration will have events happening throughout New York, London, Los Angeles, and other big cities. Events will include wine tastings, tango performances, and a Malbec crush. New York will be hosting an invitation-only gala and tasting at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which will have wine industry executives, experts, and aficionados in attendance.

Miami's most anticipated event of the year has arrived for South Florida's bargain-hunting foodies. From August through the end of September, Miami Spice presents a bounty of Dade County's best restaurants offering specially priced prix-fixe dinners at usually a fraction of what it usually costs to dine at some of these restaurants. I'm sure that most of you already have your Miami Spice to-do lists. Beginning this evening, however, a handful of the chefs participating in Miami Spice will be offering free cooking demonstrations of their creations to aid you in making your final selections. After all, seeing a chef in the process of creating a dish is a much better deciding factor than a mere menu description when it comes to choosing a restaurant to visit this August and September. If you're Miami Spice itinerary is already fixed, then the cooking demonstrations will be an excellent opportunity to meet some of your favorite local chefs and perhaps get some tips on how to create your favorite dishes at home. After months of brainstorming solutions and plan revision, Betsey Johnson LLC has exhausted all of their resources and, we are sad to say, have filed for bankruptcy. Within the next few weeks the brand known ‘round the world will be closing its 60-some freestanding stores and letting go of over 300 employees.

Though we are sad to say goodbye to the eccentric fashion shows Betsey Johnson has been putting on for years and years, we are happy to say that this is not the end of Johnson all together! The creative director will still be overseeing all of her moderately priced designs sold in Macy’s, as well as her jewelry line, Betseyville. WWD even reported the possibility of a reality show in the making.

It’s official; Macy’s fashionistas sure know how to throw a great party. In celebration of the brand new INC collection and Editor at Large Kate Young, celebrity stylist and fashionista in her own right, the store hosted a stylish soiree last night. It was fashion with a view, if you will, at Le Bain atop The Standard Hotel. Against the backdrop of the Hudson River and New York City’s sparkling lights, the collection was presented on mannequins and a few stylish live models.
