MADISON AVENUE
Lilly Pulitzer's preppy chic designs have been coveted ever since Jaqueline Kennedy was photographed wearing one of the brand's now-iconic colorful shift dresses. On Tuesday, April 3rd at 6:00pm, the Lilly Pulitzer Madison Avenue store will be donating ten percent of all purchases to Unleashed NY, a unique after school program that empowers middle school girls to be social change agents through dog rescue.
At this private party, shoppers will enjoy snacks and refreshments and new Spring designs for women, men, kids and home. The cost is $20 at the door and guests can RSVP by emailing madison@lilypulitzer.com.
Theory To Invest Into Proenza: Earlier we reported that Permira, the owner of Proenza Schouler and Valentino, had intentions of bettering both brands, but didn't deny their willingness to sell their stakes for both labels. A day after the news was released, Proenza's Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez met with Andrew Rosen, CEO of Theory, for a meeting that is speculated to place Rosen as a potential investor. Nothing has been confirmed, but hey, it wouldn't be a bad idea.
