Mansion Gets A Multi-Million Dollar Makeover

It's the ultimate house party and it's our pleasure to introduce you to the new Mansion 360. The 40,000 square foot Miami mega-club was recently redesigned from floor to ceiling with unprecedented lighting and sound systems and an edgy new façade. The city of Miami Beach even declared Saturday, January 21st "Mansion Day" as the club reopened its doors to kick off a two day electro-fest deemed "Deadmau5 unhooked."

True to the new 360 concept, the DJ booth has been relocated to the center, promising guests a great performance no matter where they are on the dancefloor. Mansion goes beyond simple bottle service with the new VIP scene, complete with a full private bar with ample tables and seating, all in the shadow of world-renown DJs.

Keepin' It Kelsey: Your Weekend Guide

After watching the United States' heartbreaking tie to Slovenia just now in the World Cup, (Edu's goal wasn't even close to being offsides by the way) I'm ready to think about the weekend to get my mind off of soccer. Without further ado, here are my choices to get your weekend off right:

What to Do

Head on over to Mansion tonight to catch a special DJ set by Lil' Jon. Mansion usually attracts a pretty good crowd for their We Rock Hip Hop Fridays and Lil' Jon will likely only help make the party bigger than it usually is. Residents DJ Ideal and DJ Affect will also be contributing their musical stylings throughout the night.

Keepin' It Kelsey: Your Weekend Guide

Things will be relatively brief this week as I'm quite distracted by soccer right now (curse you ESPN3.com.) That being said, if you're not in the going-out type of mood this weekend, I would highly recommend catching some of the World Cup, especially the United States vs. England Saturday at 2pm. If you do want to peel yourself off of the couch however, here are my suggestions for this weekend:

What to Do

Check out two great concerts this weekend. Tonight you can catch the Dan Band at Mansion and rock out to the group that played the hilarious wedding scenes in Old School and The Hangover.

Mansion Welcomes 'The Dan Band' Friday Night

While "We Rock Hip Hop" Fridays at Mansion are usually known for their urban flavor as the rap and hip-hop A-Listers who make appearances at Miami's hottest night club, this Friday will be a little different. The Dan Band is the main event this Friday, bringing their blend of musical comedy and hilarious covers to South Florida.

The group, which is most famous for their appearances as the wedding band in movies like "Old School" (a f***in' total eclipse of the heart), and "The Hangover," has also filmed a Bravo special entitled "Dan Finnerty and the Dan Band: I am Woman," and made appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Look below for a video from their Bravo special. It should be all the convincing you'll need to check them out this Friday at Mansion.
