'Calling' on Alesso

Amidst a busy touring schedule, we were able to grab an exclusive with one of EDM's biggest emerging young DJs, Alesso. Calling on the attention from peers such as Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, we find out why Alesso is a name that we'll keep watching for Years.

Angela Samartano: MTV News recently named you one of their "Rookies to Watch in 2012." How did you first get your start in the electronic dance music scene?

Alesso: I got a CD from one of my closest friends. There was some house music on it and fell in love with it. I couldn't get enough and eventually started making my own music.

10 Lost Legends Due for a Hologram Resurrection

With the eerily realistic resurrection of Tupac via hologram at Coachella this past weekend, we couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to see more of our favorite lost legends come back to life. What we'd pay to see them in the flesh (kinda) once more! This is an open letter to the Hologram Gods, here's a list of icons you need to get to work on next. Chop chop.

Interview: Eric Dill of Click Five Gives us the Scoop on Going Solo

Eric Dill is the former lead singer for the popular band Click Five. He has since ventured out into a solo career and we got a chance to snag him for an interview about his upcoming album. Get the scoop below!

Joonbug: How has it been transitioning from a member of a band to a solo career? What do you like and dislike about it?

Eric Dill: My artistic endeavors, when considered, have always been born of my own volition. I have found players my whole life to perform with but never felt artistically connected or bound to them. My best collaborative efforts are in live performance, songwriting and production and this I enjoy doing a la carte. As an artist, nothing is more deadening than being controlled. To become a music entity beyond myself would be tying my hands and diluting vision.

It's Not Really MJ on the 'Michael' Album

In 2010, Paris Jackson made an announcement in a video chat to friends stating the MJ album released in the wake of the singer's death didn't contain MJ's actual voice ... it was an impersonator!

Back in 2007, a song called "Mamacita" made the rounds with people thinking it was a new MJ track. Turned out it was done by a guy named Jason Malachi, who is well-known for sounding just like the King of Pop. In 2011, Jason Malachi was quoted saying "It was me. It was me who sang Breaking News, Keep Your Head Up, Monster, and Stay. I had a agreement with the record company, but now the cat is out of the bag. Sorry to all my fans, and fellow Michael Jackson fans." Since then, rumors have swirled about it actually being Jason not MJ on the album 'Michael."

Paris Jackson is Ready to Shine

Everyone look out for Paris Jackson .....this is it!

Yesterday, the legendary music icon's 13-year-old stopped by Ellen to talk about getting her first role in Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys.

Paris talked about her love for acting and her admiration for her father's childhood role in the Moonwalk.

She revealed, "My dad was in the movie Moonwalker, and I knew he could sing really well but I didn't know he could act. I saw that and I said, "Wow, I want to be just like him."

Even though she's got big shoes to fill, she's already on the right track with the help of MJ. "He would go 'OK, in this scene, you're going to cry.' And I'd cry on the spot!"

Conrad Murray Found Guilty in Michael Jackson Case

At last, the trial for Michael Jackson's death has finally reached a decision: Dr. Conrad Robert Murray has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

Bittersweet news indeed for all the ones seeking justice for the late pop icon, who was 50 years at the time of his death on June 25th, 2009. The jury deliberated for a total amount of 10 hours since Friday until coming down with a unanimous decision. Last week's closing arguments consisted of defense attorney Ed Chernoff claiming that Murray should not be convicted due to Jackson was the one ultimately responsible for the anesthetic propofol overdose:

Culture Club Reopens With A Bang

Culture Club threw its grand reopening party last night, and they certainly did it right! With a Michael Jackson impersonator, non-stop '80s music, and themed drinks like "Vanilla Ice," "Bon Jovi," and "Smurfirita," attendees were cutting a rug like they were the stars of Footloose. The multi-level club featured Saturday Night Fever inspired floors, paintings of yester-year, and plenty of neon colors. With the help of partner Debbie Gibson, VnC Cocktails, and South Beach Smoke, the bash was one of the most colorful (literally and figuratively) so far this year. We even got a surprise live performance from Debbie Gibson of Shake Your Love and Only in my Dreams. Notables in attendance included Kourtney Kardashian, VnC ambassador Scott Disick, Nanette Lepore (who also designed the club's uniforms!), Project Runway’s Joshua McKinley, DJ Kiss, DJ M.O.S, and Mick Boogie.

The Latest Craze: Zombie Caterpillars

According to a new study by Science, caterpillars are turning into zombies, otherwise referred to as "gypsy moths." (Though zombie sounds way cooler.) Apparently a virus takes over their minds and causes them to climb to treetops (before they're naturally ready) where their bodies turn into liquid goo and drip in a horror film-like manner to the ground below. That's right everyone, it's not raining men --it's raining zombie caterpillars. As explained in the abstract:
