If you're looking for some good eats and eye candy all in one place, then don't miss Anthony Anderson as he returns to Organic Avenue to promote The Lifestyle for Beauty. This inspired him to create RawModel.com, his website that promotes healthy eating (bye-bye processed foods!) and a healthy lifestyle. At this event, Anthony will be whipping up two custom power smoothies for you to try, in addition to speaking about organic gardening, wild foods, sustainable living, and meditation. As always, we opt not to speak on red carpet looks from award shows. However, since model-turned-E! reporter Coco Rocha was there, we had to take a peek - well, a peek at her twitter.
She tweeted a pic of herself at the Grammy Awards wearing a dress from her upcoming clothing line, Rococo.
We're not saying whether we do or don't like it, but it's certainly interesting. And we're sure that things are going to get even more interesting now that Coco is expressing her desire to show at Fashion Week soon.
Proudly, we can definitely say it isn't another Erin Wasson thing. But, again - it's interesting.
Marc Jacobs may not have made a runway appearance at Milan's menswear Fashion Week (we forgive you, Marc!), but he nonetheless used his F/W 2010 inspirations to create a professional bevy.
Because stars are totally professional. Regardless, the collection has character, and each piece actually looks different from one next one. This season showcases fun apparel for men who actually have jobs, and Jacobs brings his signature downtown praticality in tow. At least he's halfway given up on the Scottish kilts. Okay, they're skirts. But hey, Kid Cudi likes to get tossled in them as well. This season, Jacobs kept it subtle with a half-draped skirt to complement staple accesories, shirts and blazers. Let's not forget the bad-boy blazer, either.
Apparently, these days Kate Moss is acknowledging her age. Bravo for her - and to her surprise, long-time boyfriend, Jamie Hince, proposed to her in Mustique during the prep for her 36th birthday bash.
Wait, Kate is 36?
Of course, in who's who and referral fashion, Hince acknowledged Kate's Topshop roots by asking for Philip Green's help in choosing a ring.
Leave it to Kate to mysteriously claim she designed it, once press hits. Oops!
Tis' the season for models to have babies. Yesterday we found out that supermodel Gisele Bündchen gave birth to a baby boy with husband and football player Tom Brady. And today we learned that 19-year-old model Jourdan Dunn gave birth to a boy on Tuesday afternoon; so her son and Gisele's son were either born on the same day, or just hours apart. Dunn has been with her boyfriend for five years. The daring model even walked the runway seven months pregnant for Jean Paul Gaultier's show. Her agency hasn't said whether she'll walk the shows again in February (I hope), but a rep says, "Jourdan is really well and super happy."
Rising South Korean model Daul Kim was found dead in her Paris apartment last Thursday, November 19th. The 20-year-old, who moved to Paris from South Korea, is said to have been depressed, although she jokingly denied it when asked. She had graced the runways for leading designers including Chanel, Dries van Noten and Alexander McQueen. Despite her success, she had hinted at her desire to end her life in her popular internet blog – a series of poems, photos and thoughts called "I like to Fork Myself". The fashion community is saddend by the lost of such an incredible talent. She will be missed dearly.
Model Sessilee Lopez came straight from Philly and has worked her way up into the world of fashion. Born in 1989, this 20-year-old is American born, but is of Dominican and Portuguese descent, giving her an extra flair that makes her an intriguing figure in the modeling industry.
For Sessliee, modeling was a strong desire but seemed a distant dream, in part because she growing up in a tough city, resulting in her tomboyish manner, but primarily because she suffered from the skin condition eczema when she was 12. In fact, skin seems to play a major role in the career of Sessilee because she is often cited as being an “African American model”—her Latina heritage is largely ignored simply because her skin is of a darker complexion.
You know exactly who she is; She needs no introduction. As the star of Bravo's Real Housewives of New York City, Kelly Killoren Bensimon's exploits have become the stuff of daily tabloid fodder. I got a chance to talk about the things that really matter in her life when the camera stops rolling.
Jaime Felber: Many people would be happy to succeed as an author, many would be happy to be considered a successful jewelry designer, and many would kill to be a model, yet here you are, having succeeded at all of the above and so much more. Do you consider yourself a workaholic?
Coco Rocha is a part of the theatrical editorial photographed by Sophie Delaporte for the French magazine, Les Echos. To add to the overall spectacle, the editorial features French designer Jean Paul Gaultier, who played the important role of fashion editor. Every look evokes a Gaultier talent, despite the fact that other designer’s garments are showcased. Model Coco Rocha strikes the poses effortlessly; showcasing her already well known talent. While these feminine dresses all have a unique edge, it does not take away from the beauty of the shoot.
