The larger than life rapper is about to embark on a nationwide tour with Lil Wayne, that sees stops at every major city across North America.
Before he departs on the "I'm Still Music Tour 2011," though, Rick Ross will be stopping in Las Vegas, where he will be performing at the Palms Casino Resort. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster and are based on seating.
Rick Ross has become one of the larger, both literally and figuratively, rappers in the industry. His physical demeanor combined with his rugged rap voice, have become his calling card.
The show will start at 10 pm.

This role playing game is set in a post-apocalyptic Las Vegas, and has players pitted against enemy factions, a slave legion and an occasional monster or two. Fallout: New Vegas is a follow-up to the 2008 Game of the year, Fallout 3.
The summer blockbuster season is officially kicking off this year with Iron Man 2. There are even predictions that it could break The Dark Knight's opening-weekend record of $158.4 million. Though, I think the Iron Man-folks would rather just stop being compared to that film, seeing as the massive success of the Christian Bale flick definitely put a damper on the almost-as-massive success of the first Iron Man.
It was during her last trip here that the rumors regarding Paris' supposed relationship with Kim Kardashian's ex Reggie Bush surfaced. The two both were at two Vegas birthday parties that weekend for Mark Sudach and Jason Strauss where they apparently shared champagne and more But eye-witness Robin Leach assures that the couple didn't even speak to each other, and I'd believe Robin if he told me Johnny Weir was straight. That's how reliable he is.
This Friday, April 30 Community stars Joel McHale and Donald Glover are performing at Mandalay Bay. These two hysterical hotties are both on my list of future boyfriends, so I obviously have spent a lot of time thinking about where to best stalk them during there time here in Sin City. I actually met Donald once, too so I already have an ice breaker prepared. He told me I was a "sexy Fievel" for Halloween, words which I cherish and shall be proudly displayed as my tombstone epitaph. I also know Joel is happily married with two kids, but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right?
After a ten year hiatus, Pavement has not only returned to the music scene but is returning to Las Vegas.
The celebrated indie label Matador Records is celebrating their 21st anniversary this fall right here on the Strip with a three-day music festival. Most details surrounding the event are still unknown, but we can tell you that the event is called The Lost Weekend and is sponsored by Goldenvoice and FYF Fest. The event will run from October 1-3 and is sure to be filled with some of the hottest names in alternative and indie music.
It's hard enough to imagine someone your parent's age celebrating their birthday in a Vegas club. Now try to imagine someone your grandparent's age doing this. Though, this isn't your average 84 year-old we're talking about here. With a history of having multiple girlfriends at once and founding one of the world's leading men's magazines, Hugh Hefner has always done things a little differently.
Over the weekend, music superstars flocked to Las Vegas and showed us how they (aka the rich and fabulous) do the Strip.
The Hip-Hop Royalty Way
After his sold-out show at The Pearl in the Palms, Jay-Z joined his wife Beyonce to celebrate the end of his tour and party into the morning. Joined by Young Jeezy (who was a special guest during Jay-Z's concert) and Larry Johnson of the Washington Redskins, the hip-hoptourage headed over to Tao in The Venetian. Co-owner Jason Strauss was excited to say that Tao's records were broken that night with 1,400 diners at the restaurant and 7,000 parties at the nightclub.
Today, the Las Vegas pool wars officially kicked off with the opening of George Maloof's Palms Pool & Bungalows. His infamous Ditch Friday parties will start up again May 7.
The other Strip splash spots aren't prepared to let Maloof take all the glory. MGM Grand has some heavy artillery in their canon to fire back with. After the their pool, Wet Republic, opens on March 12, reality star and new mother Kendra Wilkinson will host the complex's first big event on March 27, before the official grand opening on April 17. Then a week later, another E! starlet and mother Kourtney Kardashian will hold her birthday party at the pool, hosted by sisters Kim and Khloe.
I won't lie to you. I'm a believer. And that title covers aliens, ghosts, and yes, psychics. I'm not saying that when people claim they had an "encounter" or "vision" I'm not skeptical, but I do believe that there is the total possibility all this paranormal stuff is real. Why not, you know? Prove me wrong. I dare you. It's like when I claim that my last boyfriend was in the Gorillaz. There is no evidence to the contrary, so just let me do my thing.
This Thursday and Friday at 7 pm "The Modern day Nostradamus" Gary Spivey is coming to Vegas for a very limited engagement at The Lounge in the Palms. Gary is known equally for his psychic abilities as he is for his outrageous white hair helmet.
