More appropriately - it's the first ad since Olivier Theyskens' departure - but, when will he return?
Thankfully, Theyskens will be having a book launch during Fashion Week on Thursday at Barney's. In our perfect world an exec from Ricci will just so happen to be there after a couple of cocktails and invite Theyskens back - all whilst texting Copping that he's fired. Oop!
By the way, less handbags and more apparel for these ads. Gosh!

The ex-Nina Ricci designer-turned-book writer-turned-model poses for Paris, LA Magazine, a magazine that is published twice a year.

And, get this - the designer brought some of his own clothing to the shoot. What a model!
It's said that Theyskens posed topless as well, with his long mane made to cover his face. Rick Owens, Raf Simons and sheer tops were also used for the shoot photographed by Michael Henry.
Peter Copping, can you do that?
Granted, it's not Oliver Theyskens, but Peter Copping has a way of pulling the wool over our eyes - so we won't note the distinction...this time! Crushed bows and witty flowers aren't particularly fooling us, but are they fooling you? With a frail color palette, conveyed by minimalistic grays and ethereal floor-sweeping gowns to flatter, Copping invites everyone back into the world of Nina Ricci for Pre-Fall - but do we really want to go? Oops! Nevertheless, I wouldn't mind playing around in the two-toned gloves.
