Tiger Woods announced today that he will make a historic return to the game of golf on April 8, 2010 to compete in the Master's Tournament after almost six months of hiding from his media-infused scandal. Woods' public problems began on Thanksgiving Day with a minor car accident outside his Florida home he shares with his wife Elin Nordegren and their two children, which ultimately led to the exposure of dozens of extramarital affairs from across the country. Woods has been undergoing therapy for sex addiction at a treatment center far removed from public life and from his family.
