GLAM DAMN IT Rachel Zoe
The Magicians of Fashion: Our 5 Fave Stylists

After a full-fledged week of fashion, we were inspired to recognize those who put it all together. What we like to call "The Magicians of Fashion." It sounds fun, but styling is no easy task. In fact, it's an art form. Some can style themselves at the snap of a finger, and others require a little help. Consider this a shout out to all of those stylists who have put together memorable looks, grew from nothing to some of the best in the biz, and even had an influence on trends heard around the world.

The first is Rachel Zoe. We know, no-brainer, right? This fashionista is most well-known for her celeb clientele and her passion for costume jewelry, boho-chic style, and large and in charge dark shades. She has become an inspiration to many where her background lies in New Jersey and her success in the limelight of L.A. With no formal training in styling, she has shown us that anything is possible when you have the drive and hard work in your grasp!

Culture Club Reopens With A Bang

Culture Club threw its grand reopening party last night, and they certainly did it right! With a Michael Jackson impersonator, non-stop '80s music, and themed drinks like "Vanilla Ice," "Bon Jovi," and "Smurfirita," attendees were cutting a rug like they were the stars of Footloose. The multi-level club featured Saturday Night Fever inspired floors, paintings of yester-year, and plenty of neon colors. With the help of partner Debbie Gibson, VnC Cocktails, and South Beach Smoke, the bash was one of the most colorful (literally and figuratively) so far this year. We even got a surprise live performance from Debbie Gibson of Shake Your Love and Only in my Dreams. Notables in attendance included Kourtney Kardashian, VnC ambassador Scott Disick, Nanette Lepore (who also designed the club's uniforms!), Project Runway’s Joshua McKinley, DJ Kiss, DJ M.O.S, and Mick Boogie.

Mel B Adds Another Spice Baby to the Mix

It's a girl!

If this were last week, Melanie Brown will tell you what she wants - what she really, really wants - and that is to give birth already!

The former Spice Girl has had a baby twice already, so she's certainly an expert when it comes to mommyhood and pregnancy. She even had to skip Kim's wedding, scared that she might go into labor and steal the spotlight!

SCENETRACKER McQueen's collection titled Romantic Primitivism shows animal-like designs, as well as fetish-type outfits.
Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Comes to an End

Although I do watch my fair share of Project Runway, I am not a fashion savant, nor do I pretend to know much about it. How exactly did I find myself at the Alexander McQueen exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, you ask? Well, after all of the rave reviews it got, it's hard not to be curious. On Friday morning I went to check out the scene...and was utterly shocked. Wrapped around blocks and blocks was the line just waiting to get inside the museum. Once inside, there were even more lines to enter the exhibit. I knew that the exhibit would be crowded, but I did not expect the mob scene that awaited me upon my arrival. The wait turned out to be well worth it.

Q&A With Project Runway's Anthony Williams

I wouldn't miss my friend's baby shower for just anything. No, it would have to be something big; something like a personal appearance by project runway's Anthony Williams. My friend Diana’s baby shower was scheduled for Saturday April 2--the same weekend that Anthony Williams was hosting Macy’s Fashion Challenge at Pembroke Lakes Mall. I am a huge fan of project runway, so when I heard back in early March that an alumnus of the show was coming to South Florida, I jumped at the opportunity to meet him.

Is this a Costume Party or a Fashion Show?

We obsess over wearing (and affording) their clothing, but this Halloween it's time to honor the person behind the label. Best of all, you probably have all the items in your closet, can buy them cheap and will be able to wear them after the last bottle is popped at this year's greatest bash.

Daniel Vosovic Shows The Final Girl For SS 2011

Boy scout survival. Daniel Vosivic begin his show with a film of his muse Martha, in the wilderness on a mission. Her mission: to survive - fearfully ripping discovered cloth into appropriate and wearable bikini tubes -complimenting her downtown aesthetic at its best. Vosovic's collection "Final Girl," seemed to be inspired by unsuiting circumstances and questionable perserverance.

When the runway show begin, we knew we were in for a surprise. The show opened with a slouchy trailblazer coat, immediately acknowledging Vosovic's 360 degree turnaround from his Fall 2010 collection - structured elegance to accessible cool. Models continued down the runway in moss, sandstone and deer-like colors, honoring tied, slashed and twisted details.

The Christian Siriano Way of Things For Spring 2011

In a past lifetime, Christian Siriano could have been a shoe designer. Throughout his Spring 2011 collection, it was painfully hard to balance the attention between Siriano's Eastern Culture influence and the collections footwear -named Shanghai, Mumbai, Nairobi and Zanzi - a phenomenal contribution to his affordable capsule with Payless. Unlike his fame founding rival, Daniel Vosovic, the designer kept literally honest to the Siriano way of things.

He played it safe with skin-embracing frocks adorned in repetitive prints. Prints, most of us appreciate and depend on of Siriano. The designer introduced the spirit of a traveling woman, with belted hip-touching bodices, shiny bermuda shorts and a metallic front-draped pencil skirt for an evening night out. Siriano's draping was taken out of context, when he begin to playfully drap transparent like fabrics from various places on the woman's body.
