The Kardashian empire is expanding and is apparently not going anywhere because the matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner, is getting her own talk show! Kris is the name of her show and will be an hour-long talk show and will have a summer on select Fox-owned stations in New York, L.A. and elsewhere.
Jenner, 57, will welcome celebrity guests and talk about fashion, pop culture, beauty, and lifestyle. Fox Executive, Stephen Brown praises the mother of six as "a dedicated mom and a successful business woman." He continued to say, "Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted, all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host."
Vinny Guadagnino is the next Jersey Shore character to land his own show, this time in talk show form. The first cast member to score a non-reality opportunity, Guadagino's new show will allow him to interview guests inside his home and guests will also get to delight in meeting his one-of-a kind family like uncle Nino and his mother, Paula who famously cooks the Jersey Shore cast members large Italian feasts on the regular.
MTV released a statement, explaining their choice for choosing Vinny to have his own show. "Vinny's unique mix of humor, intelligence, curiosity and heart make him the perfect choice for this genre busting take on the interview format," said Chris Linn, MTV Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production. "As the lives of the 'Jersey Shore' cast evolve, we are excited to explore new ground while still delivering the laughs and surprises that fans have come to expect from the franchise."
Over the weekend, Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, hosted a dance party at Gypsies Nightclub in Mount Airy Casino Resort in the Poconos. Fans of the show joined the party to schmooze with the hostess and wriggle out some details from this season of the show. Teresa fans received a surprise with an impromptu meet and great with the reality star! Teresa also got up into the DJ booth to kick off the night with her fave song, "Wild Ones." Bravo has taken one part cooking show and one part travel show to bring viewers a culinary whirlwind spanning the entire globe. The network’s new culinary competition series, Around the World in 80 Plates, takes twelve chefs around the world to cook, learn about unfamiliar cultures and their cuisine, and most likely stab each other in the backs with their perfectly sharpened chef knives. The combination of Top Chef skill, the Amazing Race stamina, and Survivor strategy is sure to satisfy the hunger of even the most discerning reality TV junky.
Khloe Kardashian Odom recently announced that her reality show Khloe and Lamar, would be put on hiatus until further notice. Many rumors have been circulating that the couple's decision to take a break from reality TV was indeed made by Odom, who wants to focus more on his basketball career. Kardashian, being the supportive wife, will honor her husband’s wishes.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the couple put the rumors to rest when they stated the break would only be for the summer. "Our show is not cancelled. Lamar and I have chosen to take a break this summer. We've been on a whirlwind doing back-to-back shows, and we just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family time, kids, basketball, Olympics -- you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now."
We wish them the best but if you need more time off, take it guys, we still have another three years of Kardashian’s to keep hungry viewers occupied.

Obviously, reality television is the next phase of the bacon takeover. Deadline reports that bacon Reality TV is currently in development by LMNO Productions. Yes, you read that last sentence correctly. It will be a show completely dedicated to bacon.

Heidi Montag, 24, and husband Spencer Pratt, 27, recently had an interview with The Daily Beast to discuss their..."careers" and what they're currently up to. Surprisingly, the attention-loving duo laid down a pretty genuine and candid conversation about the past few years, including their remorse over some mistakes. Spencer, on the topic of fame & reality television says, "...Everything we were doing, in retrospect, was a mistake. The second we continued on our quest for fame was a mistake...This isn't a business. That was the big thing I didn't get: Reality TV is not a career. Anyone who says, 'Oh, you can have a career in reality' -- that is a lie."
