Paramount Pictures and Will Ferrell have announced that "Anchorman 2" is officially in production, with our favorite cast expected to come back for another round! That means Ferrell, Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd are all set to perform their roles as jazz flute extraordinaire Ron Burgundy, dumb-as-a-brick Brick Tamland, and veritable sex panther Brian Fantana once more. Original director Adam McKay will be behind the camera, and co-writing alongside Will Ferrell.
Ferrell appeared on "Conan" last night, fully in character as Burgundy, fluting up a storm. His nearly five-minute appearance concluded with the announcement that “Anchorman 2” officially has the green light!
