Russel Brand will return for another round of hosting the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. The British funnyman will bring his raunchy comedy back to television, we just hope his recent divorce from Katy Perry will not be the butt of any of his jokes. Brand is reportedly very excited to take the reins of host again, a position he had when he hosted the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2008 and 2009.
Expect to see stars like Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Mark Wahlberg at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., and broadcast live on MTV.

News just broke that UK comedian Russell Brand, will be hosting the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, yet again, despite the controversial spills at the Jonas Brothers’ virginity and labeling of our former President Bush as a “retarded cowboy”, from last year’s performance. Best known as Sarah Marshall’s freaky love interest in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Brand’s sense of extremely overt humor is one that the American public seems to love.
