SAMANTHA JONES
Did the 'suckiness' of the second film attribute to the extinction of a possible third?
Kim Cattrall, 54, might think so. The seemingly ageless star has effectively portrayed the role of sexbomb Samantha Jones for almost 13 years now.
She explains to PopEater, "I don't know if it will happen. I really, really have no idea..I love playing Samantha Jones. I would love playing Samantha Jones again, but I don't know if I will."
Reports describe the film series more than likey to be dead after the overwhelmingly negative reviews for Sex & the City 2, despite its success at the box office. Sheesh, couldn't the Jurassic Park people take the same hint?
Remember that tear-jerking episode of Sex & the City where Smith shaved his head as a gesture to show his support of Samantha when she got cancer? That's kind of what's going on this weekend as part of the global fundraising effort by St. Baldrick's, an organization that's leading the fight against childhood cancer.
St. Baldrick's was founded only a decade ago by 17 people in Pasadena who didn't want to waste their St. Patrick's Day getting day drunk. Instead, they vowed to raise $17,000 on March 17. The event more than surpassed expectations, raising $104,000.
As if Dolce & Gabbana's eye-candy, Noah Mills, needs more attention.
The supermodel will be filing into the line of models-turned-actors by making his acting debut in the sequel to Sex & The City. Mills will play the brother to Charlotte's wedding planner, Anthony.
Mills speaks about his film debut, saying:
"My first film experience is this role, so that was a little intimidating; they've worked together for so long."
With two scenes, only one of which is a "speaking" scene, we're holding out for a love scene between Mills and Kim Cattrall (Samantha).
