SKEE-BALL

Beer, Skee-Ball, and Major League Dreidel

You don't get more Williamsburg than this.

The boys at Full Circle Bar who brought you Brewskee-Ball, the country's first competitive Skee-Ball league, are at it again. But this time, they have the advantage of a built-in theme song.

Major League Dreidel, the sanctioned body of everyone's favorite Hannukah game, is hosting 124 of the nation's best spinners at its official annual tournament tomorrow at the Knitting Factory, before moving the party to Full Circle Bar next week for more dreidel drama.

Get Down in the Doghouse

The Lower East Side is getting instilled with a dose of frat boy debauchery.

With the opening of the Doghouse Saloon at 152 Orchard St., a new era in the LES began; one of grown men chucking balls into cups, (beer pong players beware the swine flu) eating free hotdogs all-night-every-night, and drinking oversized cocktails served by waitresses in bikinis. And all this in a dive bar with skeeball, 10 TV’s, and cheap shots galore.

Taking over the spot formerly occupied by the ill-reputed Annex, the one-time concert venue has transitioned into a wood-paneled watering hole. There is a hint of clubby-ness in this saloon though: the basement has been refurbished into Cloak, a bar/lounge with a more upscale feel, its own doorman, and an amber glow inviting trouble in the dark.
