Dexter is a must. Such a great show, and I can't get over how the last season ended. Also my new favorite is Archer on FX. I've been really busy lately, but have found time to squeeze some time in for watching these.
What did you buy after hitting it big and getting that first big paycheck?
It's Halloween week. It's super busy here in the office, and there's an excited anxiety in me knowing that the City is about to go crazy with scary faces, masquerades, and of course, the biggest party New York City has ever seen. This year, Joonbug is taking over an entire pier. Pier 92 that is. Promising to have 3,000 people and a parade of masked faces, Horror on the Hudson is going to be the most epic party you have ever been to and will ever go to. There will be a freaky collection of performances in absolute Halloween style, and it will be your opportunity to hear one of the world's best DJs, Mel Debarge. It sounds quite exciting.
I am proud of where I live, and having lived there for a grand total of six weeks, I feel it is my privilege, nay, my responsibility, to report some comings and goings that are occurring. This is not a gossip piece, so much as a ‘heads up.’ In the heart of the East Village, where trendy just gets trendier, there is more to be excited about.
I never realized when I first moved in to my new apartment, just what kind of neighborhood I was getting myself involved with, and now that I’ve been living there a grand total of six weeks, I feel a veritable local, and am assuming the responsibility of showing off that I live in a cooler part of the city than you. That, and I want to draw attention to some new developments happening on 7th Street.
