Was there a more annoying couple in reality televison than Heidi & Spencer? After years that consisted of endless faked photoshoots & random "sightings", the hated couple from MTV's The Hills finally puts the mask down and reveals the downsides of their quest for stardom.
Heidi Montag, 24, and husband Spencer Pratt, 27, recently had an interview with The Daily Beast to discuss their..."careers" and what they're currently up to. Surprisingly, the attention-loving duo laid down a pretty genuine and candid conversation about the past few years, including their remorse over some mistakes. Spencer, on the topic of fame & reality television says, "...Everything we were doing, in retrospect, was a mistake. The second we continued on our quest for fame was a mistake...This isn't a business. That was the big thing I didn't get: Reality TV is not a career. Anyone who says, 'Oh, you can have a career in reality' -- that is a lie."

Last week Montag said she was divorcing Spencer because he was a fame whore and because he was shopping a tell-all book and a sex tape around town in which Montag stars in.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt almost had us convinced that they were headed for splitsville up until the point where paparazzi spotted them in Costa Rica together. According to legal document, Pratt signed the dotted line on the divorce papers and these two are supposed to be divorced by next Valentine's Day. Since signing the papers Pratt's been telling anyone who will listen that he has not one but three sex tapes of Heidi. In one of them she's getting it on with a Playboy Model. He's reached out to Vivid Entertainment and is asking for 5 million dollars for the tapes. He's also shopping a tell-all about the former Hills star.
Is anyone including Heidi Montag surprised that her super cool, teddy bear of a heart husband Spencer Pratt is shopping a tell-all book about her?
What will be surprising is if they actually end up getting a real divorce. The verdict is still out on that one. Pratt and Montag, most famous for spreading a rumor that Hills' star Lauren Conrad had a sex tape, oh yeah, and for being reality stars too, were married for a year. They got married on-camera which some would say is to blame for the downfall of any reality TV couple's marriage (just ask Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey) but we're going to go out on a limb here and say it probably has more to do with the fact that Spencer is a lunatic.
I guess we can say that Speidi is officially done with each other. Even though everyone, including family members and the Hills castmates, are skeptical about their marriage being over, Spencer Pratt says that it is actually in fact the real deal.

When Spencer Pratt was un-invited to "The Hills" finale party, we were all left wondering whether or not he was going to pull a 'Spencer' (aka do something off-the-wall). Well, he answered that question when he showed up basically looking like an old homeless man, standing across the street of The Roosevelt Hotel (where the party was being held).
Apparently, the guests (Lauren Conrad, Lo Bosworth, Audrina Patridge, etc...) were actually afraid of what Spencer might do. I would be too...Have you seen him lately?

The Hills ex 'star' Spencer Pratt (and soon-to-be-ex of Heidi Montag?) has nowhere to live! Since splitting up from Heidi (still not sure about whether or not this is real), Spencer has been bumming it up on friends' couches, and now he's infiltrating the beautiful Roosevelt Hotel.
"Booking my room at Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood now that I have no place to live I think I should just move in there today stay near the action, " he Tweeted.
Seriously, Spencer? I love that hotel. Leave it alone. Actually, just disappear altogether.
Take your mountain man beard and your crystals and go. Just go.
