Betsey Johnson, the cartwheeling fashion designer, renowned for her over-the-top designs and funky bangs has not had the best of luck. She unfortunately suffered breast cancer in 2002 and disastrously filed for bankruptcy in April 2012.
Yet things are picking up for the funky designer. She has been inducted into the Fashion Walk of Fame. She has a reality show with her gorgeous daughter Lulu, debuting on the Style Network. And most pertinently she has a whimsical new collection of bridal shoes set to hit Zappos in April. The line is called BLUE and retails in the $100 range.

The cast of the hit Style Network show, "Glam Fairy" kicked-off Season 2 with a celebratory event at Teak on the Hudson. Media and fans attended to greet the cast and wish them well for the exciting, new drama filled season. Joonbug had exclusive red carpet access and we were able to chat with the cast at the packed soiree.
Dressed to thrill the cast members showcased their own personal styles. Star of "Glam Fairy" Alexa Prisco looked chic in a simple black dress, proudly showing-off her baby bump and wearing to die for black suede Louboutin fringed boots - can you say a-h-mazing! By her side was her handsome man, Danny who looked sleek in a sharp black jacket. Alexa Prisco's main assistant (and glam client liaison) Jon Kutlu wore a fierce black studded motorcycle jacket with Harley Davidson gloves and was channeling his admiration of everything Madonna-esque. Celeb photographer Demis Maryannakis was there to capture all of the action.
What's better than an hour long docu-series following a former Cheetah girl and ex-TV personality as they hit the streets of New York City to reinvent their brands, careers and love lives?

The Style Network is dishing out a delicious new slate of original programming. The new series “Empire Girls” starring Adrienne Bailon and Julissa Bermundez, which premiered this month, is a new Sunday night treat. The two Latina starlets let cameras follow them chronicling their pursuit of success in the cut throat entertainment industry.
Our favorite E! News host announced with her husband that they will welcome a baby this summer via a gestational surrogate. The baby will genetically be the Rancic's child. The couple's struggle to have a baby throughout the years has been well documented on their hit reality show "Guiliana and Bill," which airs on the Style Network. This will be the first child for the couple who have been advocates and inspirational examples for couples who have gone through the same struggle and process of getting pregnant.
The Rancic's have also said that they knew their surrogate was the one the moment they saw her. They also want to keep in touch with her after the baby is born and have even gone with her to her doctor appointments. The grateful couple will document the process on their show which airs on Tuesdays. Be sure to check it out!

"Glam Fairy" which stars Alexa Prisco owner of a thriving NYC/NJ metro-based wedding makeup and beauty business featuring her team of glamorous fairies has been received with rave reviews! The show takes place in a stylish loft space right outside the chic streets of Manhattan in Hoboken, NJ.
