His & Her Fashion: Selena Gomez & Austin Butler

We love to be inspired, and appreciate those who inspire us, especially when it comes to fashion. In a world of hipsters and drama queens, metrosexuals and fashionistas; we are always looking for the people who do it best. Why? Because they are the ones to watch!

If you think of Selena Gomez and only think Disney’s darling, then stop right there. This pop star-slash-actress is quickly shedding those mouse ears and slipping into some of the hottest designer fashions out there today, not to mention making a splash with her own apparel line in Kmart. Fresh off the heels of the spicy and controversial new film, Spring Breakers, Selena has begun pounding the pavement promoting“Come & Get It,” the first single off her forthcoming solo album set to release later this year. Once known as the better half of global superstar Justin Bieber, Selena's no stranger to being in the news; however this time it’s her fashion that's making headlines. She's been dropping jaws all over airports and red carpets these days looking fabulous at almost every turn.

Subtlety, poise, and effortlessness are just some of a plethora of reasons why Selena Gomez is one to watch in fashion. Being such a young age it's sometimes easy to become a slave to fads and outlandish trends, but Selena stays true to her personality. She’s not afraid of color and experiments with a variety of prints and patterns. On red carpets she loves to eccentuates her waistline like she did at the premiere of Spring Breakers wearing Reem Acra (see slideshow). On the street she has a slightly more boho-like aesthetic, but dresses it up with trendy flats and high heels, dark black spectacles, sexy handbags, and accessories.

Who Dressed The Best?

The MTV Movie Awards hosted by the uncomfortably funny Rebel Wilson aired Sunday, April 14th. When watching these shows you can always expect to see some pretty wild fashion, as well as some pretty amazing fashion. With amazing talent filling the seats such as Brad Pitt and Adam Sandler, the red carpet was filled with awesome stylish ensembles that we just can't wait to show you!

The red carpet host of the night, supermodel Karlie Kloss looked super fresh in her head to toe white style. We can all admit her bod made us a tad jealous. Her ensemble was by Cushnie et Ochs paired with Gucci ankle-strap heels and accessorized in David Yurman jewelry.

Up, up, and away!

One of the looks that never seems to go out of style in the bun. It's a look that calls to mind the French Riviera. It's Audrey Hepburn-ish. Here we trace a few purveyors of the looks and offer a few tips on how to achieve the up-do look, as easy as a trip to your local Sephora.

The Kardashians are known to hit the red carpet with their luxurious raven manes piled up in high buns. It's a look that turns killer with a black pantsuit and high heels. When you have straight glossy hair like theirs, styling is an ease. If you don't naturally, mimic the results by using Mane and Tale Shampoo. It retails for only about $5 at your local drug store and gives you healthy, silky hair.Another great shampoo, slightly more expensive on the purse-strings is Redken All Soft, which many of the famous and beautiful, swear by.

Wedding Looks with Haute Couture Flair

Looking for the dream wedding look? Look no further. Here are the cutting edge looks for 2013, off the runways.

Elie Saab designed a confectionery collection of regal lacy dresses that would suit a princess in Spain. There were also pastels that could deck out Mia Farrow circa 1968. Frankly, it was ephemeral and beautiful. They weren't hippie though. The dresses were well bred and grown up. You won't have to worry about looking immature at your own bash. The gowns glowed with his virtuoso design and fitted the models perfectly. Christopher Josse went the restricted route, with somewhat controlled sleeveless gowns that need only a simple headband to decorate with. George Chakra sent a model down the runway with a veil covered in frothy white lace pieces. Jennifer Lawrence recently shocked in her short Dior veil and hat, similar to the looks he sent down the runway at his bold wedding collection.

GLAM DAMN IT Vanessa Hudgens featured in Cosmopolitan
Love, Peace & Stylishness

In a recent spread for the April 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, our favorite style inspiration, Vanessa Hudgens, channeled her inner flower child, which is not a far cry from her everyday fun and free-spirited style and nature. Vanessa states, "I'm a total gypsy bohemian. If I could go back in time, I'd be front row for Janis Joplin at Woodstock." Until time travel is possible, Vanessa seems quite content with attending Coachella, the annual three-day music and arts festival in California. She reflects upon it, stating, "The first time I went, I thought, 'This is heaven.' You just feel completely free. I'm going to go every single year until I die."
