If you like food as much as we do, then you are always on the prowl for something new and different...and delicious. Luckily, New York is known for its culinary diversity. Here are some of our latest, favorite unique foodie spots.
The Curry Club: Should your tastebuds lean toward eclectic, The Curry Club that just debuted at Jones Wood Foundry is for you. Jason Hicks has partnered with Saira Malhotra to showcase a different curry each week here at the first Anglo-Indian collaborations at a British pub outside of England. In addition to the delicious dishes, Jones Wood Foundry will also offer Indian brews and wines to complement the food. The $23 dishes will be available November 12, 19, and 26th from 6-11pm.
Imagine each night of the week as an opportunity to further expand your palate. Like muscle, one’s capacity for revelry is subject to diminishing returns—i.e. the implementation of “shock” workouts is necessary to ensure one’s appetite for nocturnal sojourns remains fresh. The remedy lies in diversity: a quaint, cozy night with some delectable beverages; juxtaposed the next day against a roaring, inferno of fiesta. The cure to overcoming mundanity lies within the flighty allure of Adventure—give in!

Madison & Vine is offering up a to-die-for Thanksgiving menu at $45/person. Choose from an appetizer of butternut squash and pumpkin bisque with toasted pumpkin seeds or a fall salad of frisse and seasonal greens (with roquefort cheese, maple glazed walnuts, warm bacon vinaigrette). Move on to the entree, where you can choose from roasted turkey with mashed taters, candied sweet potatoes, haricot vert, cornbread, stuffing, cranberry orange relish...basically, the works. Or you can opt for slow roasted prime rib with mashed potatoes, sauteed baby veggies, with a delicious port wine sauce. Still not enough options for you? They also offer white truffle ravioli with toasted pine nuts in a brown butter sage sauce. Dessert brings more goodies in the form of pumpkin pie a la mode or hot apple pot pie, also a la mode.
