As much as we can commend Kate Gosselin from being able to handle eight kids without her head from exploding, the reality mama was never the poster child for camera shyness, either.
Now that the long-running Kate Plus 8, previously known as Jon & Kate Plus 8 before the messy divorce, has given its final bow - what is in store for Gosselin and her kids?
How about her ex-husband, how is he holding up? Jon Gosselin has reportedly found a solid job in construction, even though hardly working Kate looks down upon his choice. She says, "It's a situation where Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids and working a regular job. I want the best for my kids and the best opportunities not unlike every parent. To be a good parent is to work as hard as you can and give them the best opportunities in life..."

Wake up, my little cherubs, wake up! You fell asleep watching Rachael Ray explain, for the umpteenth time, how to use extra virgin olive oil, didn't you? Fear not. No more pouting while watching lame reality cook shows that focus more on the drama than they do on the food. No more! The Learning Channel has got your food-obsessed back, yo.
Starting on Monday May 3 at 10pm, TLC will premiere the first episode of their new six-part series, Best Food Ever, which takes you across the country in search of the champions of chow. First, let’s be clear. Cake Boss is not your typical cooking show. While, yes, cooking (well, more specifically, baking) is one of the main focal points of this new TLC reality show, the other, yet equal, aspect is that this is a show about a big Italian family in New Jersey. So, for my fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey fans out there, Cake Boss is sure to entertain you.
Buddy Valastro is the head baker of Carlo’s City Hall Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey. He is “The Boss.” Family plays a key role in Buddy’s business, as his mother, four older sisters and three brother-in-laws are his employees. In other words, DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA! And, it tastes delish.
Aside from Buddy’s charming and hilarious New Jersey accent (think fogettaboutit), not only is he actually a phenomenal baker, but also an artist. When asked to bake a cake for local retired firemen, Buddy when above and beyond when he constructed a cake with a house that had smoke (well, not really smoke—it was actually water vapor, so that the cake wouldn’t melt) coming out of it, as well as a fire truck with working lights! And, you could eat the whole thing…damn. Talk about mad skills!
Be sure to catch new episodes of Cake Boss, Mondays at 10:00 PM on TLC.
It’s official. Jon and Kate Gosselin publicly revealed their “separation” on last night’s much anticipated episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8, but before it even aired, People.com got a hold of some legal evidence of their actual filing for a divorce. SHOCKER!
TLC announced that they will be taking a “production break”, although rumor has it that the next episode is scheduled to air on Aug 3rd. I’m sure TLC is fighting this matrimonial turmoil so that they can keep their ratings at their all-time high!
