TOUR DATES
Afrojack has just announced his massive North American tour! "Jacked" will take the renowned DJ to most metropolis cities, including New York, Chicago, Philly, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Boston, Miami and Atlanta. Surprisingly, Los Angeles isn't include on the list (or any city in California for that matter) so west coast fans will have to get their fix in Las Vegas.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, April 20th. Get more info and tickets at Afrojack.com , Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Also, those of you with Citi cards are in luck; members can get presale tickets for select dates at 10am on March 18th via Citi’s Private Pass Program.

Dubstep phenom Scion A/V will release a 5 track EP, produced by DJ 12th Planet titled Scion A/V Presents: The End Is Near. Even better, the EP will be available as a free download at www.scionav.com starting January 18th. In addition, Scion A/V will present 12th Planet’s nationwide tour, set to hit 28 different cities starting February 2nd in Miami.
12th Planet had a huge year in 2011 with a sold out North American tour with Skrillex, and the release of ‘Who Are We?’ EP on his label SMOG. He also co-produced a track for Korn, who has recently moved into dupstep. UK's Mixmag also named him the "US Dubstep Godfather."
The unsung heroes of the Nashville music scene will hit the road later this month on the "Ten out of Tenn" tour. Starting in Tennessee and branching out to major markets such as NYC and Boston, the two-week tour will showcase ten tight-knit singer-songwriters who have all seen success outside of the spotlight.
The tour will feature Katie Herzig, Andy Davis, Tyler James, Trent Dabbs, K.S. Rhoads, Griffin House, Matthew Perryman Jones, Butterfly Boucher, Jeremy Lister and Erin McCarley. The artists will all share a tour bus (which should make for some interesting sleeping conditions) and each play two of their own songs with the backing of their tourmates and house drummer Will Sayles.
Ready to jam? Perhaps you have already heard about Dispatch’s sold out reunion tour, but have you heard there’s a new EP release in the works as well?
At last, Dispatch has returned to the recording studio after ten full years of absence. The Vermont trio’s forthcoming EP is due for a summer release; no specific date or title has been announced yet. Yesterday, Dispatch released the EP’s lead single “Melon Bend” online (free download available below in exchange for an e-mail address), and on iTunes today via Bomber Records.
If you're a fan of Girl Talk, you're in luck, because with the large list of tour dates and locations (including two in Virginia, one in Maryland, and one in DC), there's sure to be a show near you. My suggestion is to find out when the tickets are going to start selling at your local venue and to mark your calendar, because in my experience, it hasn't taken long for Girl Talk tickets to sell out.

Asher Roth is a skinny, redheaded rapper stemming from the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. His overnight success began with his hit single, “I Love College.” He was instantly catapulted into celebrity status among the internet-savvy youth. He released his debut CD, Asleep in the Bread Aisle on, fittingly, 4-20. He will be making appearances at the following concerts this summer.
Concert Dates:
Iron and Wine is not a band or a duo, it is just one man named Sam Beam. He plays peaceful, mellow acoustic tunes which involve nothing except the acoustic guitar and his occasional banjo. He has one of the biggest names in the folk/indie music scene. This summer he will be traveling around the country playing at many folk festivals.
Concert Dates:
July 9th Ottawa Blues Fest Ottawa, ON
The Black Keys are an Ohio based duo who spent years perfecting their sound in an unfinished basement. In 2007, they were fished out of oblivion by producer/musician Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, Gorrilaz, The Grey Album). According to the band’s website, “The Black Keys have been able to make something ferociously noisy, deceptively melodic, and surprisingly sincere out of the simplest tools and riffs.” The duo will be going on a short tour this summer, playing at multiple music festivals across the country.
