Man, Miami is quickly becoming one of the go to destinations for any EDM lover craving some awesome clubs and beach parties. With some of the world's best DJs playing just about every night, one might wonder if it hasn't become THE destination. Another great Thursday night at the W South Beach, and once again, we're back at it! Joonbug Miami and Smac Entertainment have proved that their new partnership with Michael Capponi and Michael Martin brings some unbelievable energy to the night, and that Summer Thursdays are here to stay! The crowds are really feeling our choice of true "Open Format" sounds that our DJs have been providing, and this week will be no different. We welcome Dijital, a Wall favorite and his first time playing the newly improved Summer Thursdays. Let's just say that excitement is an understatement!
More than just WALL, Summer Thursdays are excited that WET (Poolside at W South Beach) is really picking up steam. Our resident DJs Ryan Jove and Andres Fresko, have been doing a great job of playing funky, groovy house music, keeping a great vibe going all night poolside, where you can enjoy the beautiful property of the W South Beach in a more relaxed atmosphere.

With Joonbug Miami and Smac Entertainment's newly formed partnership with Michael Capponi and Michael Martin, summer Thursdays are a force to be reckoned with. With last week's proof that our concept of a true "open format" musical direction inside WALL is the right move, this week we welcome world - renowned and Miami favorite, DJ IRIE.

Although it may always feel like summer down in Miami Beach, Summer Thursday's kicks off this year with DJ Sinatra on May 3. With the launch of Joonbug Miami and Smac Entertainment's newly formed partnership with Michael Capponi and Michael Martin, this summer's Thursday night plans to be one to be remembered. Going after that true open format music style void, many of the best open format DJ's in the industry will be sharing the list of talent hitting the booth at WALL with DJ Sinatra (this week) and DJ Irie (next week).
Sinatra has quickly become one of the most sought after party DJ's in recent years. Playing all over the world, but mostly in NYC, Miami and Tokyo, Sinatra has been invigorating dance floors in the swankest of clubs. When asked what you need for a party, he was quoted as saying, "Well first great music, a lot of woman, Patron, and plenty of ENERGY!"

'Hula-ween' Luau at Solé on the Ocean: The ultra-contemporary boutique hotel in Sunny Isles Beach celebrates Halloween early with a pumpkin carving, paddle boarding, limbo contests (win a weekend stay) and a beachside Polynesian pig roast. WALL at the W Hotel South Beach has been a booming South Beach chill spot since its opening 14 months ago, so it came as a shock when club owners Karim Masri and Nicola Siervo decided it was time for a few tweaks despite no signs of a dip in popularity. With their past involvements in Mokai and Mynt, it was no surprise that these two knew exactly what they were doing. After a 10 day hiatus, WALL returned last week redecorated and redesigned for the better. Masri and Siervo took an already thriving venue, and with a few adjustments, were able to enhance the energy and ease the flow, making the experience more enjoyable for their guests. By adding gold couches and removing the x-shaped couch previously in the center of the room, they were able to improve the flow of the room, allowing for easier access to walk across the space as opposed to simply the circular path previously available. The DJ booth has also been relocated from its previous, seemingly detached, location to front and center, amplifying the energy throughout the space and incorporating the DJ in the party experience. Aesthetically, LED diamond shaped mirrors have been added behind the bars, mimicking the diamond shaped tiles that plaster their walls, and a 35-inch Raimond chandelier now hangs from the ceiling, its lights glowing to the beat of the music. With the hot new layout and design comes an even hotter new weekly party. Joonbug.com along with OneFifty will be taking the famed “Favela Chic” party, known to cater to an upscale model-like crowd, to the elegant and sexy revamped space, bringing you special surprise guest performances every Tuesday. This Tuesday October 19, don’t miss out on the launch of Favela Beach, where there will be a special live performance by Bobby Brown, and resident DJs Ross One and King Benjamin will be spinning into the late night hours. Doors open at 11 p.m.
