Here is the dilemma I often face with popular bars, gastro pubs and wine bars; too many people in too little a space. I get the allure of the whole cozy vibe of a neighborhood hotspot, but I like to be able to drink a beer with the comfort of some, albeit it minimal, (I'm aware this is still New York) personal space. If I wanted to rub elbows with my other drinking cohorts I would invite 3 people to my "cozy, neighborhood apartment" living room.
