Bar Crawl Manager is seeking a Full-Time Events Manager in our New York office to oversee You must be comfortable working in a nightlife event environment and on some weekends.   We are currently hiring eager individuals that are outgoing, self-motivated and want an exciting career in the nightlife industry in New York.   Hit the streets and make every bar owner your friend, come up with ideas for new bar crawls like an ugly sweater crawl or leprechaun lap. We welcome creativity and hard work.   Work with other bar crawls across the country to form partnerships and alliances.   

Job tasks include (but not limited to):

  • Oversee each market’s (NYC, Philly, Boston, Chicago, Miami, DC and more) crawls.  There are tentatively 6 crawls per year in each market.

  • Hit the streets and get new venues

  • Hit the streets and promote, if you do not want to go to the party and give out free tickets and do a shout out with the dj then this is not for you, if you do then you will have a blast!  

  • You want to be the person working the door of the event or the head person in charge of making the event happen on site.Our events happen on the weekends, you do not care because it is your lifestyle anyway!    

  • Develop and execute marketing plans for each crawl

  • Coordinating with PR Department for Social Networking needs & Promotions Department for promotional assets.

  • Oversee all marketing material production (posters, flyers, email blasts, box/banner ads, maps, etc.)

  • Contact business, sports leagues, and other relevant groups to participate and sponsor each crawl.

  • Hire brand ambassadors, promo models, and staff for each event.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor degree in a related field (PR, Communications, Marketing)

  • Must be a multi-tasker who works well under possible high-stress situations

  • Ability to work events at night and on weekends

  • Exceptional writing/verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated person who is hardworking and responsible

  • Ability to work independently in a small entrepreneurial environment

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop

  • Must have a working knowledge of social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, etc)

  • Candidates must live within 45 minute commute to the office if more then it will not work out.   

Hours: Managers are in our Midtown office from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Mon. thru Fri., plus some weekend hours, and extended hours during the holidays.

Payment: $35K+ depending on experience. Benefits available after 3 months.
