Lifestyle Account Manager NYC is seeking a full-time, NY based, experienced Lifestyle Account Managers to join our team.  Individual must be outgoing, highly motivated, professionally mature and a natural at sales; ready and able to build B2B sales of our online marketing, event and ticketing platform.  The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for overseeing all aspects of helping increase Joonbug's reach into several new markets. (Vertical specific orientation and training will be provided upon hire).    Joonbug is the world’s largest event produce on Halloween and New Years Eve, we are launching the website to become a discovery platform for 21-31-year-old city dweller to go out and have fun. We have 4 sections, Eat, Drink, Party and Do.    These sections will feature unique experiences, deals, and fun happenings.   You will be searching out the best of the best in each section, calling the clients, cutting the deals and posting the offers. You must be outgoing, have familiarity with what is hot in the scene and enjoy the “going out” lifestyle.    

Account Manager Duties Include:

  • Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers to generate sales opportunities

  • Adds new website content daily (event and venue listings)

  • Comfortable hitting the street and meeting with clients.

  • Wants to go out to events and network and build relationships for Joonbug

  • Make tons of phone calls and build a bond with clients, stay in touch with clients and make sure they are selling with us!

  • Creative thinking, there is always something for us to sell, sometimes you have to create the offer for the client.

  • Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

  •  Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating a proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).

Job requirements: 

Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach with a focus on building partnerships with clients

Meet with the CEO periodically to discuss operations

Answers support emails and calls

 Responsible for email marketing and Social Media

Experience finding new business and closing sales cycles in a consultative manner

Exceptional writing/verbal communication skills

Self-motivated person who is hardworking and responsible

An outgoing personality who is confident in themselves and quick business decisions

Ability to work independently in a small entrepreneurial environment

 Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop and some HTML

Outgoing personality with strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience finding new business and closing sales cycles in a consultative manner

Hours: Lifestyle Account Managers are in our New York City office from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Mon. thru Fri., plus some weekend hours, and extended hours during the holidays.

Payment: $35K+ depending on experience. Benefits available after 3 months.
