On April 18, Recess in the Room takes over Virgo NYC for a late-night session headlined by No Thanks, the high-energy Canadian house duo made up of Giuliano Rascan and Dejan Zoric. Based in Vancouver, No Thanks has built a reputation around their signature "Polite House" sound, a sharp mix of tech, bass, and pop layered over tight drums and heavy low end. With more than 15 years of combined experience and releases on Insomniac Records and Thrive Music, they know exactly how to keep a room moving without letting it breathe.
From 10PM through 3:30AM, expect a dancefloor that stays locked in. Virgo's intimate layout, low lighting, and relentless energy turn the room into something deeper than just another Saturday night out. This is not the kind of party where people drift in for one drink and leave twenty minutes later because they saw someone they vaguely know. This is a full-room experience built for people who actually came to dance.
Support from BK, Dimitra Q, and Jayslow keeps the momentum climbing from open to close, setting the tone before No Thanks takes over and pushes it the rest of the way.
