Why You Will Want to Celebrate at Johnny Utah's Midtown NYC

Johnny Utah’s is a hidden southern outback housed in a former NYC bank building.  Known for a good time and a large mechanical bull affectionately named, “Buck” – there’s nothing mellow about this Midtown favorite.  Cheers with friends under wooden beams and multi-color string lights – there’s no room for the pretentious here.  Southern delicacies like fried pickles, wings, buffalo chicken dip, baby back ribs, and spicy street corn are the kind of mouth-watering fuel guests come back for again and again.

After 9pm, Johnny’s becomes a 21+ venue, so just in case you need some shots of liquid courage before you mount the bovine, Johnny’s enthusiastic bartenders are happy to oblige.  What Johnny Utah’s calls NYC’s “urban cowboy experience,” regulars call the Ring of Fire – that’s the ring in the center of the venue where you mount Buck and hold on for dear life.

There are booths, a 38’ bar, and several separate rooms so you can arrange for whatever kind of gathering you’re looking for.  Take your pick: there’s the Vault, which is lined with safety deposit boxes in honor of the building’s history, a glass enclosed Earp room, The Parlor room with its own private bar, and The Porch that overlooks the main room and the Ring of Fire.  Wash down a fat burger with some whiskey beneath a disco ball that’s lost its way and forget your troubles – this is where you come for a guaranteed good time.  It’s Tex-Mex mayhem at its finest in New York City, y’all, and nobody can pass that up.
